BEGINNING AT 17:15 HRS ON 22nd September 2023
Your attention is drawn to the above meeting and the provisional Agenda set out below. All alumni, staff and students of CUED are eligible for membership of CUEA and are welcome to attend the AGM. This AGM will be invited to confirm the support in principle which was agreed by the AGM last year, to transfer of the Association into a University Trust, thereby resolving a governance uncertainty which has existed for some time. This will allow the Association to continue its activities on a firmer legal footing. The agenda below assumes this confirmation will be given. Further details of the matter are presented in Annexe 1, included in the below Calling Notice document.
Nominations for Association Representatives on the new Trust Management Board including the Chairmanship / Presidency are being proposed by the Executive Committee, as outlined in Annexe 2 of the below Calling Notice document, but other nominations may be offered by Association Members. If so they must be received by no later than September 5th 2023. The Committee are also seeking volunteers to support the workstream leaders in all areas of activity. If you are interested in supporting CUEA in any of these roles, please contact us via enquiries@cuea.uk for more information about the committee and the nomination procedure.
