Formula 1 in the UK:
Seven of the F1 teams are based in England and recruit top engineers from the UK and beyond. Innovations and new technology that originate in F1 often make their way into mainstream automotive engineering designs. Critical to the UK economy - 40,000 people are employed in motorsport businesses generating sales in excess of £10bn.
Engineering performance and reliability, plus design agility and responsiveness are tested to the extreme. Our panel will enlighten us on how F1 teams meet these challenges and the roles young engineers can aspire to.
CUEA Members, CUED Alumni, faculty and students are invited to register in-person or virtual participation through the ticketing sytem.
